I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and had everything I could need, although they were small and more suitable for a quick coffee and small bite. The service was amazing, especially since I had to check out early the next morning. The location was not the best for most tourists but was ideal for my visit to Chinatown. The dining was simple but good, with delicious homemade options. The facilities were practical, but the price may not reflect the overall value.

The hotel offers lovely themed rooms decorated differently, with great views out to the alley, community garden, and street. The styling is impressive, and the bed is very comfy. The room is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and a few dishes, enhancing the convenience. However, the location may feel a bit questionable with some scent issues and a presence of homeless individuals, but it's very close to Gastown, China town, and excellent restaurants.

The location is perfect for walking in Gastown and downtown Vancouver, despite some sketchy elements nearby. It's right on the border of China town, offering easy access to both China town and Gastown. Proximity to great restaurants enhances the overall experience.
Dining

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated but could have been cleaner. The service was friendly and helpful, offering directions and recommendations, but there were some issues with parking. The location was convenient for exploring Gastown and attending events at BC Place/Rogers Arena, although the presence of many homeless individuals created safety concerns. The dining experience was satisfying with a variety of fresh options, but non-residents arriving for brunch caused crowding. Overall, the hotel provided a decent stay but with room for improvement.

I had a delightful stay at the hotel. The rooms were tastefully furnished, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The service was exceptional, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. However, the dining experience, although delicious, had limited options, and the area around the hotel was not the safest.

What a delightful stay! The rooms are all uniquely designed with incredible art by a talented artist, making the whole experience very nice and enjoyable. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the addition of a little kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker adds a special touch. However, the surrounding location might not be the best for everyone, with some challenges due to drug use and homelessness in the area.

The hotel is located on the edge of Gastown and next to the Chinatown gate, presenting both advantages and some drawbacks in terms of safety and surroundings. The rooms are uniquely furnished and clean, but some face a less appealing view. The service is friendly and welcoming, resembling a stay at a 5-star hotel. However, the dining options were limited and the breakfast service fell short of expectations.

Rooms

Location
6.0
The location, while between Gastown and Chinatown, had some safety concerns with unsavory characters nearby. Despite being within walking distance to key areas, the overall environment wasn't ideal for all guests.
Dining

The dining experience, focusing more on continental options, lacked variety and included overly sugary items, which may not suit all guests. The service was only cold, and the selection was uninspiring.
Facilities

The facilities were functional but lacked inspiration, with little to offer in terms of dining variety or engaging services for guests.

Staying at this hotel was a real treat. The unique Native artist-decorated rooms were a fascinating touch, and the 24-hour availability of water, coffee, and tea added a special convenience. The cleanliness and tranquility of the room, with hardwood floors and no noisy disturbances, made for a peaceful retreat. On the downside, the close proximity to areas with homeless individuals was a bit disheartening.

The service was outstanding - extremely helpful and friendly. The location was excellent for exploring BC Place/Rogers Arena and Gastown, making it super convenient for enjoying the attractions. I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, especially in the 'Poem Suite. ' Although the rooms were nice and clean, they were pretty small, and I would have liked to see water offered in the rooms.

Rooms

Service
9.0
The service was excellent. They had us meet in the alley to access the secure covered parking spot we reserved for $20, which was well worth it in my opinion. The beauty and design of the hotel following a First Nation's theme with First Nation's artists and staff added a unique touch.
Location

The location was transitional between Chinatown and Gastown, right by a First Nations artist. Despite some homeless people wandering around, don't let that stop you from enjoying the area.
